The musical. anything i can work on vocally/ good audition songs. I know her voice should have a very sustained quality does anyone know how to get that
thanks|||she should be powerful and confident and able to sing high. audition with 'wishing you were somehow here again' from phantom of the opera. don't forget to anunciate. she knows what she is doing-when reading make sure you understand the scene completely, dont be afraid to read it over or ask questions!!!! good luck on your audition and i hope you make it!!!! enjoy that poor provincial town :) i just did beauty and the beast and we got nominated for best show at the papermill playhouse. such an amazing show, so much fun. use emotion and tell your story with your body and eyes!!!!|||Well as far as vocals i would sugest taking some vocal lessons, if you can't do that then practice her songs over and over again and record them and play them back until you are satisfied. As for how to act try acting innocent sweet, gentle,understanding and patient.Try at first feeling very upset with the beast and annoyed with gaston then turn to be very kind and gentle on the beast and angry towards gaston. really feel what her character is.

Oh also try youtube and see other actresses takes on the role then think okay how do i want her to be played.|||Get the Broadway cast recording and listen to her and practice with it. Watch the movie. And just be natural and don't overact or try too hard.|||Work on a dreamy quality.
