my friend is planting some cherry belle radishes and she wanted to know if the stem's height effected the radish's taste|||Good question. This answer is pure speculation. I don't think so, other than a longer stem may indicate an older radish, which may affect the taste.
This sounds like an excellent science project for someone. Aftter measuring the stems, and getting a variety of sizes, You could even chop them into several pieces, and have different people do a taste test without them knowing which is which. Or, you could just tast them yourself.
