Where can I find used southern belle costumes?

I need a southern belle costume that looks like Scarlett O'Hara's dress in Carol Burnett when she makes the green velvet curtain dress. Except for the fact that I just need the pink dress not the green curtain part or the curtain rod I just need to pink dress... If anyone knows a place in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where they sell these types of dresses that would be great or a site where I can look to see if they have what I need... either way is a HUGE help... :)|||Hmmm... I was going to say call your local theatre companies. They will have the seamstress to fit it too. They LOVE donations. But if you want something very specific obv. a costume supply.

Theatre companies have a lot of stock costumes.|||http://excentrique.shop7.makeshop.jp/sho鈥?/a>

If you can't sew, find somebody who can and work out a deal with them. I think this will be your cheapest bet if it's only going to be a one-time costume rather than a true reproduction. If you go this route, you can easily cut costs by using lesser fabrics...i.e., simple cottons and such rather than the fancy chiffon and tulle and all. A lot of what makes a garment expensive is the material it's made from. Best of luck!
